ONPHA President Ami Patel explains how ONPHA is building up our internal team to increase our capacity to lead and bring you more value for your membership.

ONPHA has strong leadership and a skilled team in place, and we’re exciting to continue building internally to increase our capacity. As we roll out our recruitment strategy over the next several months, you’ll see new positions posted. Our strategy is two-fold:

  1. Strengthen the strategic leaderships at ONPHA. This means our Executive Director’s title will change to CEO to represent the shift in the role to be more focused on building strategic alliances and stronger partnerships. It also means that we’re hiring for new leadership positions, including a Director of Housing Excellence and Innovation and a Director of Corporate Services. Together, these roles will oversee the day-to-day management of ONPHA.

  2. Establish a new Centre for Housing Excellence. ONPHA has a vision to establish a new central hub for providers, partners and anyone interested in community housing to share knowledge and work together to solve housing problems. The Centre will enable our sector to innovate in new ways and create the future we want to see. We’re hiring a Manager to oversee this.

We’re still in the early stages of our recruitment strategy, but we have a clear line of sight for how we’re building to support our membership. Keep an eye out for our job postings, and help us find the right fit for these roles by sharing with your networks.
