Mental Health Resources from the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH) and Wellness Canada
Social distancing is critical to supporting Ontario’s healthcare system, but it can lead to incredibly challenging mental health scenarios. Loneliness, isolation and distance can be detrimental to frontline workers, tenants, and staff abilities. It doesn’t just impact their personal lives: it limits their ability to perform their duties.
Ensure your staff perform at peak capacity and tenants feel secure in their communities with these resources from the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH) and Wellness Canada:
- Got questions about COVID-19 can impact your staff and tenants’ mental health? They’re answered here.
- Want to sign up for regular CAMH tips, tools and information to assist managing health challenges during the pandemic? You can register here.
If you or your tenants need immediate and direct support to help with mental health and substance use challenges? You can reach out directly to Wellness Canada. Wellness Canada also offers resources for youth and adults. Youth can also text WELLNESS to 686868 and adults can text WELLNESS to 741741 if you are in a crisis.
If you or your tenants are in immediate danger or need urgent medical care, call 9-1-1.
